long time no see..
I'm back, after a little break from blogging. I am not in shape in any way, but then again, when am I ever in shape? I looked through my blog, and got a sudden urge to update it. I have no idea who reads my blog, probably slim to none. But I do enjoy it. It's like a little project a couple of times a week.
I have a new project, a big one.
Ever since I've been back in Sweden I feel like I do not belong. I spoke to my mother and (god bless her) came to the agreement that I might not be fit to stay in my home country, so I decied to go to Dublin, Ireland. There I will study (if I get in) to become a Montessori teacher. The program is 2 - 3 years and I will be trained to teach math, english/irish, arts and other important stuff to the ages of 3 - 12. Although the school doesnt start until after summer, there is much to plan.
The montessori method comes from the italian woman and doctor Maria Montessori who belived that in every child there is a great ability to be creative and she belived in combining learning and creativity to get the most out of school. She belived in helping the children to do all they can possibly do all by them self, without any help from adults, such as parents and teachers.
I went to a montessori school when I was younger and I remember that I absolutely LOVED it! And I worked at the same school two and a half years ago and I really enjoyed it.. I have never been so zen with myself as when I worked with children. Thats why I know that it's for me.
So now my blog has a purpose again, my way to become a teacher, and my life in Dublin. If I'll get there..
